Adara Spence is an autistic and disabled writer. She lives happily with her husband and two cats, Thelonius and Kuriboh, in the UK. Adara wanted to be an author since she was 6, or so she's been told. Other options included: plumber, scientist, pokémon trainer and pilot. She wrote Drawing Red as an escape from her increasingly housebound life, and to low key raise awareness of one of her more annoying conditions: POTS. Primarily afflicting women, it kicks in during teenage years and post illnesses (or after forays into space, which sadly Adara has not visited).
