Fire Marker Man is my debut historical novel, set in mid-nineteenth century New York City. Formerly a resident myself, I've always been fascinated by the rich history of the big town - especially that of lower Manhattan, "the original city," And after a lengthy career in commercial real estate lending and appraisal in the Big Apple, I found myself with the time to research and create this novel - a spark of inspiration coming from the early 2000s film, Gangs of New York.
