ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Author and multimedia artist Angel Brynner has marched to the beat of her
own drum across the arts for over two decades. After formal training with
the vanguard of the menswear industry she helmed her own line of men’s
clothing and produced events for the collection in the club scenes of
New York and Tokyo.
She became quietly known for the futuristic cautionary tales back-dropping
her collections, taking over clubs and the guerilla-marketing style she used
to slam her vision into the hearts of her fans. While being sponsored by
Multinational companies desiring audience with her underground tribe, she
returned from Japan to her hometown to press charges against a pedophile
before the statute of limitations ran out.
Cast as a vigilante by a corrupt sex crimes unit for trying to protect another
child from the same attacker, during the media onslaught against
the first brave adults to come forward and press charges against
the Catholic priests that had abused them as children she was hit with a
vision of all those already lost in a sick war on kids no one talked about.
She committed herself & her art to doing something about it.
The grievechronic universe was forged in the fires of imagining the
Armageddon that would erupt through a generation of kids who
had finally had enough abuse at the hands of adults and
banded together under their grievances. The epic spiritual, metaphysical, and historical implications of such an event played out on every level- from the hellish norms that caused it to what would be called heaven by such a broken world- made her head spin.
Epicharis, the latest fever-dream of a book published by Kokopellima Press, is the seventh, free-standing installment of the take-no- prisoners tale.
Alongside AOLAB[the active-art series featuring the multimedia work
that fed Eutaxis, Ecclesia, Exodus, Erebus, Exist and the kinetic collection
of novels that follow them], Angel Brynner’s books are the culmination of
an artistic journey many years in the making, all leading to a mysterious future project entitled Transcendence.
