Arminé was born in Soviet Armenia and immigrated to United States with her parents when she was 17. She received her BA in Liberal Studies from CSUN and her MBA from Pepperdine. She has and FLMI insurance designation, Strategic Negotiation certification from Harvard Business School and Business Leadership certification from Haas School of Business at UC Berkley. She worked in health care industry for 33 years and held key leadership roles in various health plans. Most recently, she retired from a senior executive position responsible for $18B in revenue to pursue her second peak through service and paying forward.
She is currently involved in various volunteer roles, such as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) advocating the best interest of abused and neglected court-dependent children in courtrooms and communities, she is a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America mentoring a young lady to promote life skills, self esteem, trust, and social appropriateness, she is a member of Presidents Associates at California State University, Northridge volunteering ambassadorship, she volunteers at Ruben Castro Food Bank and American Red Cross shelter in place services and has sponsored bridge housing for the homeless through Hope of the Valley. In the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, she volunteer on Gavin Newson’s testing task force to help expand the testing sites statewide. She has been involved with Habitat For Humanities for many years and helped built homes in Armenia in 2011. She is an avid traveler and has been to six continents and to over sixty countries. At her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, art museums, concerts, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Love Has No Limits is her first book and was published December of 2020. All proceeds from her book will be donated to Armenia Fund for the humanitarian efforts in Artsakh.
