Barry L. Becker retired in 2013 after spending twenty years as a sole proprietor for an independent manufacturers' company covering the Pacific Northwest. Also, he has provided marketing consulting services for corporations in the biometrics technology industry.

From 1984 to 1991, he served as vice president of international marketing and sales for Eyedentify (a Beaverton, Oregon company), specializing in eye-retinal biometrics security scanning technology for positive ID in sensitive installations. Our targeted customers included ministries of defense and interior, intelligence agencies, nuclear power plants, aerospace and defense contractors, banks, and financial institutions.

In 1987, his article "Eyedentify Counters Security Threat" appeared in the Journal of Defense and Diplomacy. Mr. Becker is a graduate of San Francisco State University.
