"The concept of RETRIEVAL began about seven years ago. One night, before sleep, I asked myself what I would consider the perfect science fiction movie I'd love to see green-lit – it would need an atmosphere of espionage and mystery, an ability to bring tears and smiles, have likeable characters, a powerful and horrifying antagonist, packed with action and suspense, involve time travel and be relevant to today. Then I wrote this story. I hope you enjoy reading it."

Ron Hubbard Writers Of The Future contest, was a 37th Volume Challenge Beastie on Wulf Moon's Super Secrets in the WOTF Writers Forum.
