Born in an Australian cane town and home-schooled by fanatical doomsdayers, they spent the first few chapters of their future memoir learning Latin and building an extensive network of escapist fantasies. Their short works and poetry have appeared in publications such as Aniko and Aurealis. They currently live in lutruwita/Tasmania with multiple offspring and a kitchen full of long-suffering ferns.
