Carol A. Wulff (Duncan) was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. As a child, she and her siblings would play outside using their vivid imaginations to create a magical world around them.

One of her fondest memories was gathering branches from the woods to decorate their front porch for Halloween. Witches, bats, skeletons, and pumpkins were handmade from colorful paper and hung in all the windows. It was a simpler time filled with love and adventure!

Today, Carol lives with her husband in the western North Carolina mountains where the fog often blows through the valley. This mystical setting has inspired her to write stories for children who want to enjoy a little spookiness during the fall holiday.
