Backdrop Dead, A Magnolia Showboat Mystery, launched March 9, 2022 starring a librarian-turned sleuth. Showboats and floating palaces suggest romance to me. Add a bit of humor to the suspense, a handsome boat captain, and a dead body (or two) and the result is a nostalgic look at the 1890s of the Mississippi River.
