Born and raised in Chicago, Delia Pitts served in the U.S. Foreign Service as a diplomat in Nigeria, Mauritania, and Mexico.  After a twenty-year career as a university administrator, Pitts returned to her first love: fiction writing.  She has written more than sixty fan fiction stories.  Pitts is the author of two murder mysteries, "Lost and Found in Harlem" and "Practice the Jealous Arts."
