Dominique Mellow was born in Lisbon, Portugal. He studied English Grammar and Essay Writing at Berkeley University; English Composition: Research and Writing at Arizona State University; Deliberations for Social Change and Justice at Harvard University; The Conscious Mind - A Philosophical Road Trip at Trinity College. He developed a writing talent early in childhood since he enjoyed writing about his experiences. During his roughly 20 years as a journalist and general manager of a television station in Canada, he also attended classes at Boston University on ethical leadership, the University of Michigan on fake news, facts, and alternative facts, and Berkley University on journalism for social change. In Canada, he also served as editor of a magazine and assistant editor and designer for a newspaper.
