H. K. G. Lowery is a Poet from the North East of England. Lowery’s first pamphlet of Poetry, An Enquiry into the Delight of Existence and the Sublime, was published in September 2020 by Austin Macauley Publishers. In July 2020, Lowery graduated from Newcastle University with a BA Honours degree in English Literature where he received First Class grades for his Poetry and for his essays on Immanuel Kant and Ezra Pound. Lowery has a portfolio of over 600 poems that span across 3 collections of work; some of which has been shortlisted for the Terry Kelly Poetry Prize 2020, and accepted into Train River Publishing's anthology (which has a readership of over 80,000 people) and Sylvia Magazine. Some of Lowery’s work can be found on his Poetry Instagram which has over 1,300 followers. Lowery also tours around the United Kingdom playing shows with his band, Fossway.
