Dr. HENRI COLT has worked for over three decades caring for critically ill and terminally ill patients. He is an Emeritus Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at the University of California and an international scholar who lectures on six continents about lung disease, the arts, and emotional issues surrounding death and dying. He is also an award-winning medical educator, an author of short stories, and a philosophical practitioner. Dr. Colt grew up the son of a French-North African father and German mother, with his childhood years spent in New York and his teens in France. There, he discovered museums and galleries throughout Europe and developed his love for art, literature, philosophy, and science. Today, he lives in Laguna Beach California and Southern France.
