Holly Spofford was born and raised outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For twenty-five years, Holly taught and coached at the middle school grade level. In 2014, after much internal debate and discussion, she left the world of education to realize her childhood dream of writing crime fiction. She combined her love of the game of golf and her skill at story-telling in her first novel – A Letter for Hoot. Her second novel, Hot Ice, Cold Blood is a thrilling sequel to Hoot. Her third novel, The Even Game is the hair raising final novel of The Taylor-Tyson: A Decade of Danger trilogy. Her latest novel, the intriguing and thought provoking Snap Decision, was released in October. This is perhaps her most popular work to date. When asked what is her number one strength as an author, her response is, "my vast and unbirdled imagination." She currently resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with her husband John.
