About the Author:

The author has a BS in Biology, an MD Degree, and three years of postgraduate training – Internship and Residency. He is Board Certification and practiced Medicine for thirty-two years, serving as a Hospital Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, and on multiple Hospital Committees, including appointments as the Project Leader for programs analyzing old systems and developing new systems to improve quality, decrease cost, and improve efficiency for a large medical group. He was a Volunteer Facility Member for two medical schools training both medical students and residents, as well as nurse practitioners.

He has served his community as a high school team physician, was elected to four county boards, and was on the board of directors for two nonprofits; one for hospice care and one for environmental preservation.

He is married and has two adult children with his wife of almost fifty years and one grandchild. He is retired and lives in Northern California.
