J. S. Vaughn is the pen name for an Asian American high school literature teacher in southeast Michigan. He is married and has two dogs, one foster, the other a foster fail, and as of this writing, a baby on the way. He's an avid baseball fan, a Journalism major in college and is passionate about social justice. The Tree of After Life is his second completed novel, first to be published, fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a novelist. He plans to write many more stories to share with the world and is excited to begin with this one, a story that loosely draws from events and people in his life.
