Jerold H. Tabbott has spent most of his time working with ships and cargo, and much of his free time either on or close to the water. The Expanding Seas of Earth is the first novel in his PRELUDE series. He and his wife Diane, and their three cats live on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida, where they enjoy viewing beautiful sunsets, sticking thunderstorms, and the occasional hurricane.
