Jo Miles writes short stories and novels across the spectrum of speculative fiction, featuring vivid characters, quirky world-building, and a sense of hope.

Jo’s short fiction has appeared in numerous places, including Lightspeed, F&SF, Analog, and Fireside. Their story “The Longest Season in the Garden of the Tea Fish” in Strange Horizons was nominated for a WSFA Small Press Award. Their first novel, Warped State, is available in September 2023.
