Joan L. Robison
Lives in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she sits in her living room late at night after her husband, daughters, and three cats are fast asleep, thinking up tales of adventure. She just finished the fourth and final book in the Edelweiss series and is now working on a new story in the dark world of vampires.
Before becoming a writer, Joan tried her hand at various things, with mixed success in most of them. This included cosmetology, customer service, and teaching English to refugees, amongst other things.
When she is not sitting on the couch with her laptop, she is outside working in her garden (or we can just call it what it is, playing in the dirt) and doing things with her kids. She also enjoys going on walks with her husband and drinking a glass of wine as she relaxes in front of the tv. Most of her inspiration comes at night when she can't sleep, is listening to music, or when on a walk alone in nature.
