Kallen Samuels lives near the Rocky Mountains of Canada with his wife of over 30 years. It’s the perfect place for contemplative and creative thought. Kallen is one of those people who has dialogue running through his head all day long. Apparently that’s not the case for everyone (there have been studies), who knew? Well, those internal conversations come in handy when writing a novel. Eventually, some of those thoughts found their way to the page, and here we are, three novels in and more on the way.

When he’s not reading or writing, Kallen is baking sourdough bread or tending his latest batch of wine. Now if only he could perfect the art of cheese making — he’d have all the staples of life close at hand.
