Karen Green started working life as a retail buyer with Tesco and went on to join Walgreen Boots Alliance (then Boots) initially as a buyer and then crossed the table to selling right back at those retailers. She now works with entrepreneurs enabling them to grow their businesses by following her unique “BUYER” system ensuring they get new listings and profitable sales growth as a result. She also works with overseas companies looking to launch their brands in the UK.
Karen is a respected and regular speaker delivering keynotes, training and bespoke workshops about sales and negotiations for a variety of clients, big and small, including UN International Trade Centre, TGW and Virgin Start up. She is often interviewed by podcasts and magazines and is a regular contributor to the Grocer and LBC for commentary on UK retail.
This is Karen’s second book – the first, “Recipe for success – the ingredients of a profitable food business” was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2019 and was an Amazon best-seller.
Karen lives in the south of France but travels widely for business and pleasure. She is entrepreneurial by nature and has a short-term rental business – chez-antibes.com – where she rents out her two seafront apartments in Antibes.
She is a passionate foodie and has wine and chocolate tasting certificates to prove it. She is honoured and very happy to volunteer on judging panels for Great Taste, Quality Food and other awards.
