Kenny Anderson doesn’t profess to know his subject matter in the sense that “it takes one to know one.” Instead, he aspires to achieve “I know it when I see it.” He believes the true test of a philosophy is if it is lived by its philosopher, with the ultimate test being to die for it. Fortunately, Kenny has not been afforded such an opportunity! Some have, though, at least according to legend, such as Socrates, one of his heroes. Kenny attempts to live according to his philosophy and is actively working to live it better with time. He is a practicing engineer, married, a father, close to family and life-long friends, financially stable, in decent shape, loves getting out in nature, scores well on psychological well-being assessments, and pursues a variety of intellectual pursuits and hobbies. His first book Life Engineering is the culmination of his life of study and paractice so far. This includes mentors and anti-mentors in all forms, conversations, reflection, critical thinking, work and life experience, and books read from the full spectrum of the disciplines in the sciences and humanities.
