After earning a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Alberta, L.V. Pederson began his career as a film censor at the Alberta Motion Picture Censor Board, where he watched 2,000 feature films in two years. His passion for movies led him to pursue a degree in Film Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, which served as a springboard for his screenwriting career in Hollywood. Later, driven by personal necessity, he became an inventor and entrepreneur, revolutionizing light therapy treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), for which he received multiple patents and international recognition.
The inspiration for his present-day 'what if' thriller stemmed from a little-known fact about a defining historical event. Through his unconventional career path and life-defining challenges, Pederson has cultivated a unique narrative voice that captures the emotional depths of trauma, perseverance and unlikely heroism. NINE MINUTES ELEVEN SECONDS is a genuine page-turner filled with deception, conspiracy, and action that will keep even the most die-hard thriller fan on the edge of their seat.
