Larry Forcey was born and raised in Southern California. After a brief stint in education, teaching US History at the middle school level, he entered the accounting profession. The Crèche was his first novel and was published as a result of its winning the 2011 WestBow Award at the Orange County Christian Writers Conference. His passion for baseball inspires many of his writings, one of which was his first published article in 2004 and his second novel, "Diamonds Through Waterloo: T-Reports", published in 2023. "Fall of the Mighty" is book two in the "Diamonds Through Waterloo" series.
