Linda Williams Stirling, being somewhat nomadic, has had several careers including being a Catering Director for a hotel chain, a Senior Law Clerk, an Executive Director for United Way, and a Foreign Service Officer (Diplomat) for the U.S. Department of State. She’s also lived in multiple locations in New York, California, Illinois, Virginia, Washington, DC, Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Middle East.
Between work and raising her three beautiful children as a single parent, she kept writing; publishing articles, essays, and poetry. Now that Linda is retired and her children are adults, she has returned to her first love… writing fiction. She lives in Upstate New York in the same small town from which she started her life’s journey, has four grandchildren, and an insufficient number of pets.
Simon Says is her debut novel and, believe it or not, is inspired by an actual event.
