Loarn Robertson was born and educated in Scotland with further educational experiences in England and in the United States. He is a former professor, clinician and academic book editor. He has written and presented on a variety of historical topics about Scotland and the Medieval time period. He is the founder of Scotia Books and Things, a small business that promotes books, presentations and other things. Currently retired, he lives in the Midwest.
