Lorraine Evanoff

Chicago native Lorraine Evanoff received her bachelor’s degree in French from DePaul University. To pay her way through college, Lorraine was a model and actress represented by world-renowned Marie P. Anderson of Elite Model Management. Then Lorraine moved to Paris for seven years, first working as a model/actress and translator for movie subtitles, then she became an award-winning film producer. She returned the U.S. and became a finance executive, first in Silicon Valley during the dot-com era, then back to Hollywood, notably as CFO of National Lampoon.

As a former Hollywood finance exec, Lorraine uses classic mystery storytelling to spin complex tales of international finance with a fiery female protagonist, Louise Moscow, in high concept noir thrillers inspired by real-life international “banker’s grave” murders. The first three highly addictive Louise Moscow spy thrillers have over 1,000 four-star Amazon reviews and have won multiple prestigious awards, including the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion, the indieBRAG Medallion, and the Readers’ Favorite Gold Medal for Mystery.
