M.J. Jones is an American author. Black Star is her debut novel and the first book in The Black Star Trilogy. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she is the second oldest, and only girl in a family of boys. M.J has written many works, such as poems and short stories, yet never dared to publish her work, until a push from her child. “My dream has always been to write, then publish a novel and to become an award-winning author. I wanted to create content about real people becoming everyday heroes and using their power to uplift each other. I love science fiction and the latitude it gives to develop amazing narratives. I love developing stories based on alternate realities.”
