Mara Rotundo is a Romanian writer in the UK. Despite being born behind the Iron Curtain, Mara was lucky enough to grow up next to a castle, in a house full of thousands of books that offered a wondrous escape from the communist grey of her early life. It's no wonder creating a hopeful universe became her adult calling.
As a youngster, she set off on an adventurous search for meaning through Europe and beyond, eventually settling in Manchester, United Kingdom, where she lives with her other half.
She wrote several novels, many short stories and essays that remain locked in a dusty drawer. "White Knight" is her first published work of fiction, a child of the pandemic—with a world in a painful unison of confusing transformation, she felt the time has arrived for a new type of story. One that looks to the past to birth new hopes for the future. One that isn't afraid of the dark corridors of life, but lives them out in a pursuit of better. Fiction that entertains as well as inspire thoughts.
