Marcus Winther-John was born in Amersham,
England in 1971. At 12-years-old his family moved to Denmark where he later became the lead singer in Inside the Whale, one of a handful of bands that defined the 90’s Danish musicscene. After a decade together the band split up and Marcus started a succesful career writing songs for international platinum selling artists from Scandinavia to Korea. He also toured as Musical Director for the Danish rock’n’roll icon, Peter Belli, for 8 years. 16 HANGOVERS is his first novel after 2 biographies about his time in Inside the Whale and on Peter Belli’s farewell-tour and also a book on songwriting, “Skriv Hits & Sælg Dem”.
