Volumes from Maria Vale's Legend of All Wolves series were chosen by Amazon, Library Journal, Publishers Weekly, ALA Booklist, BookPage and Kirkus for their Best Romances of the Year lists. Her debut, The Last Wolf, was a double Rita finalist. She persists in trying to shoehorn dead languages into stories that don't really need it in order to justify a degree in medieval studies. She lives in New York City with her husband, her children and a half-dozen long-suffering plants.
