Art and words have been a balancing act for Marjory Hawkins throughout her life. A long and successful career in public relations focused on luxury hotels and resorts,destination spas and luxury goods and services to put groceries on the table. However, representing artists, both visual and performing, is what fed her soul. She founded and operated The Art Gym, an artist cooperative in Berkeley, California; participated in artist retreats in various countries; sold her art at vetted shows; and likes nothing better than creating a mess in her art studio at home in Austin, Texas.
