Growing up in Kansas in the 60s and 70s, I loved hearing stories about my mother’s family. I also had been an avid reader all my life. Today, I am a 66-year-old mother of four adults and four grandchildren. I am a former high school English and creative writing teacher. I live in Maine with my husband and dog Albus.
