Matthew Rudd Reynolds lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Shannon and their college-age sons, Evan and Jared. Matt is profoundly Deaf and uses ASL to communicate. He has had three kidney transplants as well. In addition to swimming and skiing, Matt has become quite interested in kayaking and hiking. He is currently at work on his standalone novel, All the Stilled Voices, which takes place during the "Deaf President Now" protests in 1988. Matt is also focused on Andi and Lux's next adventure, tentatively entitled Where Stars Cast their Shadows.
