Michael is a retired investment professional who now lives happily in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife, Jann, and their Labrador retriever Shadow.

After years of writing and reviewing technical papers, Michael has, against all odds, completed two novels. In addition to writing, Michael keeps busy with travel, photography, golf, numismatics, and genealogy. Two children, five grandchildren, and many friends round out the cast of his life.
