MJ Pankey is an author, editor, and writing consultant at mjpankey.com, and host of the Augusta Writer’s Critique Group. She has been writing fiction since she was 12. She has had two short stories published: "Before Gods" appeared in the Anthology Musings of the Muses, published by Brigids Gate Press in April 2022, and "Body at the Beach" will appear in Dark Side of Purity Vol 3, published by Band of Bards Comics at a forthcoming date.
She has been professionally editing manuscripts for Brigids Gate Press and indie authors since September of 2021, and is currently enrolled in the Professional Standards of Editing Certificate program from Queen's University.
She lives in Augusta, Georgia with her husband Eric; three children Dante, Athena, and Artemis; and furbaby, Petey.
