Born in Buckinghamshire in the 1970s, I've worked in social care and the NHS since 1991 mostly in mental health and with single homeless with complex needs. I use that experience to build my complex and realistic characters and backgrounds and hopefully to raise some social awareness while I also entertain my readers. 

 I live with my partner of over 30 years in Spain and we have two grown-up children. I love the beach, swimming and just generally seeing the sun most days!
