Murray Siegel was born in Baltimore, MD and has lived in the state for his entire life. He attended the University of Maryland, where he majored in English, minored in Film, and ran the on-campus movie theater for two years. He wrote a pilot for a TV series in 1985 that was independently produced but never picked up by a network. Since the late 90's, he has been the marketing director for a company in the promotional products industry. "MurMurings" is his first published book. He and his wife live in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC.
