Nabeel Mohan was born (October 18, 1980) and raised (the bits after) in Kuwait. He served as a character creator and contributing writer for the award-winning comic book series, 'The 99', which was singled out for special praise by former US president Barack Obama. He is also part of the PLUMA Migrant Writers Guild in Kuwait, a group of poets and writers whose anthology volumes aim to shine a spotlight on human rights abuses in the multicultural Middle East.
Since 2015, he has made his home in British Columbia, Canada, where he writes decidedly odd poetry and fiction.
