Nick Goulding grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts, a city just north of Boston. He studied history at New York University and lived for many years in downtown Manhattan, working at various times as a photo lab technician, bookstore clerk, coffee shipper, waiter, bartender, and pub manager. He and his wife lived for a short while in a small fishing town in Campania, Italy, which served as the inspiration for his first novel, Licosa. They now live in Austin, Texas with their two children, dog, and rabbit.
Nick owns and operates Cafe Malta, a restaurant and bar in Southwest Austin. He’s currently working on the second book in the Gladio series, Shoot the Honest Man, scheduled for release in the fall of 2021. In the spring of that year, he’ll launch his podcast, The Wild Years, focusing on 1920’s Paris and the Lost Generation.
