Pete was born September 29, 1968, at Ft. Carson, Colorado. His father was a career military, so they traveled a lot. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School on June 3, 1986, and was standing in front of his drill sergeant on June 5. He spent a total of 24 years in the army, serving on active duty, the army reserves, and the Indiana National Guard, finishing out my career as a drill sergeant. In February of 1990, he found himself in the middle of a shooting at the Indianapolis City Market. The shooting motivated him to become a police officer, and he was lucky to serve 27 years on the Brownsburg Police Department. During his law enforcement career, he was a road sergeant and SWAT team operator, and his favorite position was with public relations. He’s been in martial arts since the 7th grade; Pete does standup comedy, plays a little piano, and is still struggling with Spanish. He has published two novels, with a third in editing. My favorite thing in the world is being a father.
