I'm from Canada, a mix of indigenous Indian (usually referred to as the First Nation, as my grandmother, apparently, was an Indian chief), part Spanish and a salting of French. I was inspired in life by several notable people who made me believe that I could change the world for the better, namely: Neil Armstrong (first man on the moon), Richard Bach (author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Bridge Across Forever), JFK, Nelson Mandela and The Beatles. It was Bach's 2nd book, however, which inspired me to write.
I pen existential thrillers in crime, geopolitical and other literary fiction, where I try to unwrap the gauze that blinds us or at the very least makes it more difficult to see the truth behind the bigger issues in our world.
I believe it is entirely up to the people, the power of the people, to advance our world beyond war, racism, hate and corruption, not governments.
My latest book, When Cowboys Fall, is a contemporary romance fiction about a man facing his midlife crisis - a story about rediscovery, dreams and love - a story about the cowboy in all of us.
