I grew up loving fantasy. From reading books by the dozen to playing dungeon and dragons and other games.

Some of my favorite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, R. A. Salvatore, J. K. Rowling, and Jim Butcher. Drizzt and Dresden are iconic heroes. One cannot forget them.  One cannot help but to cheer for them. The Lord of the Rings setting and legendary storytelling are unrivaled and the characters and universe in Harry Potter show tremendous growth over the entire series. My kids grew up right alongside. These days, I'm reading Brandon Sanderson.

These influences drive my writing. The Mid Dreki Realm is a post Ragnarok construct of the Norse Mythos, with magic and dragons, and J. R. R. Tolkien's epic good versus evil conflict. The first book is titled In Search of Justice. The subsequent books are: In Search of Kin, In Search of the Gods, In Search of the Rod, and the epic, magically explosive conclusion is, At Searches End. 

I'm married with three children. The youngest is a man as stout as a dwarf, with a beard dwarfs would be proud of. The oldest can wield a hammer dwarfs would hike for leagues to see. The middle child is fair and beautiful with a mind as sharp as any elvish mage.

I live with my wife, two dogs, and two cats, and a host of visiting wildlife, including deer, turkeys, bobcats, bears, and coyotes.
