Richard Bard is an offshore mariner and author---formerly a coastal Pacific salmon fisherman; more recently a captain delivering boats along and across various oceans; and always a writer: first as a journalist, then an author of full-length books. Tsiu Blue is his fourth such published work. He lives on an island in Puget Sound with his wife Celia and an old but still randomly interesting cat.
