His first story was published in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and won the Edgar Awards’ Robert L. Fish prize in 2015. Since then, he's had stories published in a number of outlets and recently won the West Virginia Writers Association’s Pearl S. Buck Award as well as First Place for Book Length Fiction.
