Sabbithry Persad is a writer who tackles issues we face in the global community. Persad is the author of What Is Coronavirus? How It Infects, How It Spreads, and How to Stay Safe and the Garbology Kids® waste management series for children, which include Where Do Recyclable Materials Go?, Operation: Reuse It!, and We Can Reduce: Precycle It! Persad received her degree in sociology from New York University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida and a Graduate Diploma in Books, Magazine, and Electronic Publishing. She is the founder of Firewater Media Group and Green Solutions Magazine (2007-2012 online magazine tackling environmental issues through environmental solutions). She lives in Orlando, Florida.
