Hello, my name is Sadie—pen name Sade Louise—and I'm the indie author of Blood of the Lotus, the first in my YA urban fantasy series Undivided.  I’m a twenty-year-old indie author who has invested in this story over the span of seven plus years, including starting my own publishing house. With my writing, I’ve incorporated my unique experiences of living abroad and interacting with different cultures into the characters, settings, and world-building of my story as it’s a representation of what my life has looked like and the friends I’ve made. Diversity in books, especially as a young white woman, is important to me, especially when the world of Undivided is set in the real world just with fantastical elements and alternative timelines.
