Samantha Heuwagen is a Latinx sex, marriage and family therapist, and author in the Metro Atlanta area. When not working with clients, she writes about faraway places and tries to change the world through fiction bridging mental health awareness and social justice together. Her debut novel, Dawn Among the Stars, was nominated for the 2019 Georgia Author of the Year (First Novel) and 2019 James Tiptree Award.
