Tina Koenig received her BS in Broadcasting and Film from the Boston University College of Communication. She has worked for recording studios and advertising agencies and as a crew member and producer for short and feature films.
Her extensive design and editorial career has included writing for news organizations and Fortune 100 clients in the United States and Internationally, including the Agence France-Presse, Procter & Gamble, television host Rachael Ray, Burger King, and other consumer-focused brands.
In 1995, Tina founded the internet’s first press release distribution service, Xpress Press. She also established Cybercalifraglistic Gifts, an early internet retailer. She invented the internet greeting card, sending the first one in 1995. She was once named “Small Business Geek of the Year” by Hewlett-Packard.
Building on her career in editorial and design, Tina now works exclusively as a writer, literary publicist, and author consultant. She assists new and established writers by providing services as diverse as coaching, manuscript development, author platform, and author business development, book proposal writing, book production, book marketing, and public relations. Tina has worked as a secondary publicist with New York-based publishers HarperCollins, Wiley, and Llewellyn. Her clients’ books cross all genres and continents. She’s helped to produce and market poetry, children’s literature, adult fiction, and nonfiction, and coordinated tours for New York Times best-selling writers. She assists with book submissions to reviewers, guides authors in finding and submitting OP-EDs, and schedules library, podcast, and television appearances. She also regularly pitches journalists and podcasters on behalf of her clients.
