About the Author:

Victoria Winifred was born in Brooklyn and now lives in East Tennessee. She was a classroom teacher for 16 years, including a decade in New York City public schools. Her favorite additional accreditation is her Chess in Education graduate certificate from The University of Texas at Dallas, which provided the justification to connect her lessons to chess at every opportunity, and to flood her classroom with the game, much to the delight and academic success of her students. Victoria continues to write and is an education consultant and blogger for ChessInSchools.us. She is also an active member of the Author’s Guild of Tennessee and SCBWI Midsouth.
